So what did I have to say to the Shorty Awards Academy???

How do you or your organization use social media? What makes your use unique?

I along with the budding organization PCOS Awareness Association or PCOSAA, want to do more to exploit the educational potential of online technologies and social media. Therefore, we will do all we can to accelerate the move to the next generation of e-learning activities and resources within the online health, social and business communities. By engaging technology and social media, myself and PCOSAA will be able to provide an immediate response to the needs of patients and the healthcare industry through a comprehensive set of online resources and will increase awareness of this syndrome, its symptoms and the risks associated with PCOS worldwide. By effectively promoting and implementing through social media, PCOS research, treatments and education for the condition will be more recognizable among various medical disciplines and the public. This will allow for earlier detection and better patient care for the PCOS Patient allow us to empower women and girls to live healthier lives
